Mathura is one of the ancient cities of India, 145 km away from New Delhi.
In Hinduism, Mathura is believed to be the birthplace of the divine Krishna, one of the most influential deities of this religion.
Mathura is considered one of the seven Sapta Puri, or sacred cities, therefore a fundamental point for many pilgrims and believers.
Mathura is also the name we have chosen for our Yoga Retreat, to honor this sacred temple and what it stands for.
Mathura, for us, symbolizes a place where one can devote to oneself, in order to seek inner peace through the practice of yoga.
A retreat where mind and body come together creating harmony and calm with themselves.
A "place for growing souls", dedicated to those who want to spend three days of relaxation enjoying the fruits of the soil while taking walks in the nature of the beautiful region of Campania.

Merely 1 km from Archaeological Park of Paestum, Fuori Le Mura Paestum includes 6 rooms. Guests will have access to a parking lot on site for added convenience.
Home to Davide & Titti, owners of this B&B, Fuori le Mura stands on one of the ancient villages that have characterized the architecture of the "Paestum minor" of which our territory still preserves exemplary models.
A few meters from the walls of Paestum is the rural complex inserted in a natural environment surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation, which accentuates its architectural value in a perfect symbiosis.
The estate thus protected constitutes a model of architecture, conservative restoration of organic that is still appreciated and protected today.
The center of Paestum can be reached within 15 minutes' walk of this bed & breakfast. Basilica Paleocristiana is within walking distance of the Paestum hotel and Capodichino airport is 69 miles away. The property is also situated in close vicinity of gardens and mountains. National Archaeological Museum of Paestum is situated about 1.1 miles away from Fuori Le Mura.
The rooms feature facilities like a mini bar fridge as well as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels for guests' entertainment. Some rooms also feature private bathrooms equipped with a bidet and showers.

The archaeological Site of Paestum is home to three of the world's best-preserved ancient Greek temple. Deemed a World Heritage site by Unesco, it includes a museum crammed with millennia-old frescoes, ceramics and artefacts. Among these, there is the iconic Tomb of the Diverfunerary fresco.

This November getaway is all about allowing yourself to feel all the feelings. A perfect moment to unwind, to press pause on the everyday routine and give you the chance to creatively explore your inner self. Feel free to move at your own pace and enjoy the ride: no rigid schedule. This retreat is an invitation to anything your soul and body need here and now!

This Retreat is organised by Clarissa and Antonio, two passionate about food and wellness.
In our daily yoga session you will be guided by Clarissa Fattoruso, a dedicated yogina and passionate teacher from New York City. She will create a perfect balance between dynamic classes in the morning, focused on posture and movement that will energize your body, alternated with evening yin yoga practices to deeply rest your mind and to effortlessly induce a state of relaxation. All yoga sessions will be accessible for everybody and mindfully tailored on the group. Our yoga practice is all about intelligent movements avoiding unnecessary physical stress.
Antonio, a bartender who worked in hospitality for most of his life, is an expert of this territory. He will be our guide and host for this Retreat.

What is included:
Shared accommodation in our completely private Bed&Breakfast with exclusive access to the whole estate, just 5 minutes walking from the center and the ancient ruins of Paestum.
We have shared double, triple & quadruple bedrooms for reasonable prices.
Towels will be provided by Fuori le Mura B&B.

Daily yoga classes in the nature equipped with Mats kindly provided by us.

A ticket to entry the Archeological Site of Paestum that includes a guide to make your visit more authentic

How to reach us
We are located in the town of Paestum.
The closest airport is Napoli Capodichino about 1 hour and 20 minutes drive. The closest train station is in Capaccio-Paestum (2 KM).
The train ride from Napoli Capodichino to Paestum train station is about 2 hours long.
​
A car is highly recommended to get there and to move around the area in order to take full advantage of what the region has to offer.
​

Tuition:

The price includes shared accommodation, towels, daily morning breakfast, 6 yoga classes, access to Paestum Temples and extra activities .
For an extra charge, the B&B will provide you also a special dinner cooked by the lovely lady owner, Titti.

Payment plans are also available upon request.
Only when the payment or receipt of payment is received, the reservation will be considered confirmed.

Cancellation Policy
​
Cancel and get a Refund of the 50% of your tuition if you cancel before September 30th.
No refund after September 30th.
Early Bird Price: No Cancellation is possible
You are allowed to transfer your reservation to a third party

All mats offered can be used by our guests. The guests will be responsible to disinfect / clean / sterilize his/hers mat or any props borrowed during the class.
You are more than welcome to bring your own mat for your own exclusive use.

All other activities of this Retreat will follow all the Safety Measure

Policy & Rules:

Neither Mathura Retreat Organization or Fuori Le Mura B&B are responsible for any other expenses related (travel tickets, insurance , gasoline and others).
​
If you are travelling from outside Italy, we strongly recommend getting health and travel insurance to cover any medical expenses or any costs due to trip cancellations or delays.
​
Neither Mathura Retreat Organization or Fuori Le Mura B&B are responsible for any injuries during the Retreat or during extra activities.
Neither Mathura Retreat Organization or Fuori Le Mura B&B are responsible for any theft. All participants are asked to pay attention to their personal and valuable items throughout the duration of the retreat.
If you are traveling from abroad or are not covered by the Italian Health Authority, we recommend that you take out travel and health insurance to cover any medical expenses or any costs due to travel cancellations or delays.
For the entire duration of Mathura Retreat, no-one, excluding the participants of our Retreat, will be able to access Fuori le Mura B&B or any extra activities.

Our retreat is a safe and sacred space and we care about the wellbeing of all participants.
We encourage everybody to be respectful and to not engage in any inappropriate, offensive or discriminatory behavior. Besides those participating, no other guests are allowed.
Mathura reserves the right to remove a participant if necessary.
Mathura reserves the right to change the program, the schedule and teachers any time.
When signing up for Mathura Retreat, you agree to these policies and you accept to participate in classes, workshops and hikes at your own responsibility and risk.
